Product Tips 026 on a possible way to switch a free user to a paid one; how to make your button “wiser”; and an idea of how to make access to your primary action super easy.

If your product has a freemium model, there are lots of unpaid users. For example, when you have a newsletter that proposes some content only for paid subscribers. Why not say “Thank You” and propose a good offer to become a paid user/subscriber?
As an example:
Hey there! Just wanted to drop a quick “thank you” your way for sticking around with us. We really appreciate your support! 🙏
Now, here’s the deal: we’ve got this awesome newsletter with some seriously cool stuff, but it’s kinda of exclusive to our paid subscribers. But hey, we’re not leaving you hanging! How about we sweeten the pot a bit? We’ve got this killer offer that’ll give you access to all the good stuff. Trust me, you won’t wanna miss out! 😎
A real example:
👍 Your buttons are CTAs
When it comes to buttons on your website or app, think of them as more than just buttons — they’re your call-to-action (CTA) hotspots!
Instead of the standard “Subscribe” button, why not spice things up a bit? How about something like “Send Me Lesson #1”? It’s not just a button; it’s an invitation to kickstart the user’s journey with your product! For your user, it means: go ahead, give it a click, and let’s dive into the first lesson together!
As an example:

Your product likely has a primary action that you want users or customers to take. So, why not make it super easy for them to access it? Imagine having a separate clickable key or button dedicated to this primary action, allowing users to quickly switch to it with just a press of a button.
For example, let’s say your primary action is making a purchase. By pressing a designated key like “B,” users could instantly be redirected to the buying process of your product. It’s all about streamlining the user experience and making it as effortless as possible for them to take the desired action.
