Wrote some product tips that will help you to understand why launching micro-products is important, avoid common mistakes on landing pages (recommendations from web designers), and direct traffic to a side product when users decide to leave the current one.

Product Tips #3

👉 Launch micro-products each month

You can think that focusing on one idea or product for years and years is a good idea and the right way to do it. Maybe you’re right. But what if not?… 🤔

Building micro-products and selling quickly is an advantage. You learn from the market and your customers, get feedback, and validate your ideas.

In addition, building micro-products and trying different niches is fun. It will help you to explore and learn something new and understand how some things work.

⚠️ Concentrate on very niche problems and specific audiences.

👉 Avoid these mistakes on landing pages

👍 Some helpful recommendations from web designers. You should avoid the following things (common mistakes) on your landing pages:

  1. Overcrowding the page. This can not only make the website appear disorganised and overwhelming, but it can also make it challenging for consumers to discover the information they need. Instead, make an effort to spread out the text over several pages or split it up using headings and subheadings to make it simpler to read.
  2. Using tiny text. Using too small to read texts, including buttons or links, is another huge mistake to avoid. Users, especially those who have visual problems or are elderly can find this annoying and may have trouble seeing small texts and not be able to navigate around the website or get the data they need. Make sure to choose a font size that can be read comfortably on all devices and screen sizes.
  3. Ignoring mobile users. It is essential to have a mobile-friendly website in the modern era. Since mobile devices account for more than half of all internet traffic, it’s critical to ensure that your website functions and looks great on them. Use responsive design approaches to guarantee that your website’s style and content adjust to the size and orientation of mobile devices in order to build a mobile-friendly website.
  4. Using too many different fonts. Although using multiple fonts on a website is fine, utilising too many might make the design appear cluttered and amateurish. For a unified appearance, limit the number of typefaces you employ and utilise them consistently across the entire page.
  5. Not using clear calls to action. They shouldn’t be obscured, difficult to find, or designed to look like the rest of the website. In order to attract the user’s attention and compel them to act, they should instead be conspicuously noticeable and stand out.

👉 Direct traffic to a side product

Add exit-intent popups that lead to your side project to drive traffic to your paid product or service. Trigger a popup when the user’s mouse left the page, asking them to check out another product 😉
